Akoya cultured pearls are getting famous lately because people love the beauty of the pearl that similar with the natural pearls. In the market, you can find two types of Akoya pearls.  One is Japanese Akoya pearls and the other is Chinese Akoya pearls. What is the difference between them?

Quality is the answer. Japanese Akoya pearls are high quality pearls with high technology cultivation in Japan. Before the pearls goes to the market, Japanese Pearl Association inspect pearls quality. Every pearls inspected has Japanese tag of quality. The appearance of the Japanese Akoya pearls is elegant with inner glow to reflect the radiance of everybody who wears it. The roundness, luster, surface quality, and thickness are high level. They can make it awesome matching that when you use Japanese Akoya pearl to make necklace, it will create quality pearl necklace that make it look so beautiful.

The Chinese Akoya peals are lower quality than Japanese is. It also has the elegant beauty of pearls but the glow is not the same. The other value factors are also lower than Japanese Akoya pearls. Of course, the price is lower. Chinese Akoya pearls could be solution for low budget. However, it is better to have smaller size yet high quality than big size yet low quality.
